Will there be a MP demo, or some way to try the MP? I'm somewhat interested to get the game, but don't want to waste my money on **** like MW2.

Can't edit the post, but I've lost all the interest in the game after watching this team deathmatch montage: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/team-deathmatch-call-of/703936

It's exactly the same as MW2, only with different maps. Which I'm sure gonna be taken care of, when the first DLC going to be the map pack from the previous game (MW2).

I love how they introduce BOTS in MP Maps, solo or co-op and then Gun Game. Em HELLO COUNTER STRIKE?

Way to rip off another game/company and come out as "oh it was our idea". bull****. I love there explanation for Gun Game.

Kotaku had an article right away with modes and all that and im like really? Bots, Gun Game, come on, DO SOMETHING MORE CREATIVE.

Oh come on!

They add some fantastic features and you get your knickers in a twist because they aren't original?!?

"Haters gonna hate" I guess

What new features are they adding? Seems like this is just MW2 with a few new game modes. Game modes are features, guess you mean?

And lolwut, did I see that right in that multiplayer montage? Did they actually give that guy experience points for jumping over a ledge? Seriously? A "short cut"??

Next thing they'll be giving people experience for idling in game..why even have an experience system if you get xp for doing the most basic things. Seems stupid.

The problem is people thinking that unoriginal cookie-cutter games are okay... I'm sorry, but I'm sick of seeing the same thing over and over from the COD games, and it is the fact that people like you think it is okay and keep buying the **** that they shovel at us that keeps them making games like this.

One in the chamber sounds bloody fantastic! ... I'd buy the game just for that :|

Must.resist.made.promise.not.to.buy.

i knew you'd fold...

purchase for me!

that one bullet pistol mode is AWESOME! sticks and stones... EPIC, gun game... AMAZING! This just confirmed a pre-order for me!

I'll never buy another game that doesn't have linux dedicated server files out before the game itself is released!

Take AvP for example, I think we all got burnt on that one! We were promised that they would be out but it never happened!

Its one of the many challenges. CoD4 and MW2 (and WaW too? dont know, never played the MP part of it) had the same. There's also one for jumping from a high place to your death.

Its just a one time, easy, low XP deal, not the end of the world.

How is MW2 with a few new game modes? Incredible how you can reduce it to that...

You forget the fact that all the weapons are new, all the maps are new, the story and co-op mode are all new. And new features like Theatre/video-editor, bots, character & weapons customization and the new XP and credit system...

You act like I've just joined the Nazi party.

I enjoy it, that's why it's ok(Playing COD, not joining the Nazi party).

I'm not going to lie, some of those Free for All modes in the trailer look pretty cool. I'm still don't plan on buying this game (Halo Reach has nullified any temptation I had to get Black Ops), but Treyarch is doing a better job than I thought they would. Still, my biggest problem with World at War was the crappy selection of maps, and the verdict is certainly still out on that. All of the fancy game modes in the world won't matter if there isn't a single fun map to play them on. Hey, if the worst comes to pass, they could always sell some CoD4 maps as DLC, right?

Stop confusing them with facts ;)

Gungame = Sold.

I am now buying this. Also can we get this [Official]'d?

Not until this get's released. I love the system on NeoGAF where there is a new topic for new news, so it doesn't get lost in an official topic, and then when the game comes out a topic will be made and official.

I saw the trailers and I just saw MW2. The only thing that I liked is maybe the new game modes.

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • The entire world moved to the vastly superior and now universally supported Dolby Atmos technology a very long time ago, mate.
    • Insane. This is as crazy as COVID back in 2020, where you could go back one year in time and tell them that everybody's gonna be locked in and now with memory that your old computer was going to be worth more tomorrow
    • "Bad Pool Caller" meaning one of your software is trying to change memory it doesn't own, in a memory pool that's it ,nothing to do with Windows
