Damn... THAT bad? Wow.

the beta anyways. I know you shouldn't judge a beta but it was BAD. at least the bad company beta was fun, i actually got addicted to the beta for a little while. This is one seemed like a washed up version of battlefield and call of duty combined.

I'm sure they'll have zombies, it was one of the best features of WaW. I dunno why but I'm having real trouble getting excited about this game. I took the day off to play MW2 when it came out, but this i'm just thinking "meh, i'll probably buy it i guess".

Well, that's good, since Activision isn't making this game.

Just like Activision didn't make MW2?

About the zombies.. I could have sworn the xbox 360 and ps3 collectors editions, or maybe pre orders were advertised as coming with the zombie maps. And that pc folks had to buy them as dlc or something along those lines.

It's a shame Gun Game is only available in wager matches, that's perhaps a bit too cut-throat for me - I'm such a poor loser, I'd be ragefacing constantly

I have to admit, the game is looking more and more appealing for every bit of information they release. I thought at first, based on the Multiplayer reveal footage that it wasn't a full blown theatre mode because you had to place a camera (?) but apparently it is, with free camera controls, slowmotion and the whole nine yards! One of the only features I loved about Halo that I wanted to see in other games.

The player and weapon customization is awesome, the fact you can specifically buy weapons you want and start contracts instead of that massively tedious linear progression of unlocking and chasing challenges. Even all the weapons they put in look fantastic, the GALIL?! Such an awesome gun.

Now my only biggest worry is the random aspect from MW2 - I sincerely hope Treyarch put in some Hardcore barebone for every mode, then I'd be all over this puppy in a heartbeat. ( They are also the only ones to split up Hardcore and Softcore in WaW, unlike IW that just mash them together. )

As much as I want to, I simply can't hate a game that is getting so many "Most wanted" features

Thank god for that, imagine how much custom they'd have lost.. having to pay two seperate subscriptions to play one game, especially as the LIVE prices are going up aswell.

Yeah but they do have a Call of Duty MMO in the works, that is sure to have a monthly subscription.

    • Nah. They'll milk the current generation in terms of design - controllers, consoles, but no meaningful hardware improvements. This is one reason why people aren't buying Xbox hardware - it's stagnant.
    • Funny, but I didn't had the issue. All PC's at work are Dell and we had the culprit version of Support Assist for about 2 weeks until we got the new one. No problem at all. And for checking you can also use Dell Command Update, no need to search in windows settings. Just check the Upgrade History.
    • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS
