Ada Wong going strong in new trailer for Capcom's Resident Evil 2 remake

The Tokyo Game Show is now underway in Japan, and Capcom has not only revealed new details about Devil May Cry 5, but has also released a new trailer for its upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2.

The game was originally revealed back in June during E3 2018 and takes an already fantastic game and brings modern updates like hi-res visuals, improved controls, and more. If you've already played the original, there won't be many surprises here when it comes to the story. That said, the new trailer does show us more of the Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy, along with the supporting cast that includes Ada Wong, Annette Birkin, and Brian Irons.

You'll also catch glimpses of some of the unsettling enemies that you'll encounter in the game, like standard zombies, the zombie dog, and G. While all of this certainly looks exciting, we are still quite a ways away from the release of the title. The Resident Evil 2 remake will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019. You can now pre-order the game which has a standard, deluxe, and collector's edition.
