Alleged pricing revealed for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and may come in a trio of colors

With the Samsung Unpacked event only a few weeks away, we are now getting some unofficial pricing details for the S8 and S8+. The handset may also arrive in a trio of colors - one of which is Violet.

The cat is pretty much out of the bag for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 and S8+, but it appears one last little tidbit of important information has now surfaced.

According to Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de, the S8 and S8+ will arrive in a variety of colors that will include Black, Silver, and the more daring out of the trio, Violet. Furthermore, the S8 will retail starting at €799, while the larger S8+ will come in at a €100 more and be priced at €899. For those in the US, that makes the S8+ fall just under the $1000 mark when converted, excluding tax.

Samsung has already announced that the handsets will be revealed at its 'Unpacked' event that will take place on March 29. While this may seem relatively close, there have also been reports that the handset will not officially arrive to retail until the later part of April due to a delay. If you are in an area that gives you access to Carphone Warehouse, you can choose to register to pre-order the handset to take advantage of some yet to be revealed discounts.
