As part of Amazon's Black Friday offerings, the Fire HD 8 tablet has been discounted down 50% off today for just $44.99 (normally $89.99) for the 32GB model which is a savings of $45. The 64GB model also received a slightly lesser discount of 38% off, bringing its price down to just $74.99 also saving $45 off the $119.99 list price.
As a reminder, this Fire HD 8 tablet is the 10th generation 2020 release and is available in Black, Plum, Twilight Blue or White. It includes a Quad-core 2.0GHz processor with 2 GB of RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage (expandable for up to 1TB with microSD). It also has Dolby Atmos for a premium audio experience and a 1280x800 189 ppi display.
There's also a feature called Show Mode, which pretty much turns the tablet into an Echo Show. It will show you news, weather, camera feeds, and so on.
