The Apple Store app has received a new update that introduces a "For You" tab where users can view information that may help with their online shopping or decision to purchase a new phone. The update is available on the app's iOS and iPadOS versions.
The new tab shows all the devices linked to your Apple ID such as an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. These devices appear under the "Your devices" list. The tab also displays some personalized shopping recommendations based on that list.
In addition, the tab provides you some product tips and a roster of compatible accessories you can purchase for your devices. It also shows Apple services you may be interested in and the warranty status information of your iPhone, for example. For older devices, the tab will let you see a trade-in value along with a quick link in order to get started with swapping your old phone.
Finally, if you navigate to the iPhone product page, you will see a comparison of your current phone and Apple's newer models. It also lets you compare two newer models to weigh their cost. Essentially, this feature helps you decide whether to upgrade to a more recent handset.
