Anyone following semiconductor news and the general tech sphere is probably aware of the rampant global chip shortage that has been prevalent over the last couple of years due to a multitude of reasons. AMD has already cautioned that its Ryzen 6000G series desktop APUs could be delayed as the company, alongside its major rivals Intel and Nvidia, believe that the chip supply is not going to normalize before 2023.

Speaking of Intel, many of its 10th Gen Comet Lake-S processor SKUs are selling for great prices on both Newegg US and Amazon US. One of the reasons why the chip crisis hasn't affected these parts is because they are based on the slightly older and much more abundant 14nm lithography. But that doesn't stop them from being great performers though. These processors are easily able to hold their own against Ryzen 5000 desktop CPUs when gaming and are not too far behind for other workloads too. And for the prices they are selling at now, it's hard to pass on them.

You have to pair them up with socket LGA1200 400-series chipset motherboards. Keep in mind that you'll have to use a dedicated graphics card for the F-models as they do not feature any integrated graphics.

We have made a compilation of the deals here:

Intel 8 core/16 thread Core i7-10700F (Turbo Boost: up to 4.8GHz)
