If you pre-ordered your copy of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, you will now gain access to the original Halo Wars as part of its perks package. The title will be available as a digital download with codes rolling out over the next few weeks.
What better way to relive the excitement of the original Halo Wars than playing it as a remastered title? Halo Wars: Definitive Edition has been improved with better graphics and audio with brand new achievements and content. Although the title is meant for the Xbox One, it can also be played on a Windows 10 PC since it is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. When played on a supported Windows 10 PC, the title will be able to run at 4K resolution.
If you ordered the game directly from Microsoft through the Windows Store or Xbox.com, your code will be sent directly to your Xbox's message center. For those that ordered from a participating third-party retailer, you should receive a code from them in the coming weeks. Halo Wars 2 will arrive on February 21, 2017.
