Get a discounted Microsoft Band when you buy the Lumia 640 from O2

Fancy a new Windows Phone and a wearable to go with it? O2 UK has announced a new promotion allowing you to buy the Microsoft band at a discounted rate of just £99 (versus £169) when you buy the Lumia 640 on Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly.

The Lumia 640 is Microsoft's latest Windows Phone and comes equipped with a 5-inch display with 720p HD resolution and a Nokia ClearBlack screen. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 128GB using the microSD card slot.

The Lumia 640 has an 8MP camera with 1/4" sensor size, which supports Full HD video, while a 1MP sensor on the front can be used for Skype videochats and selfies. The entire package is powered by a 2500 mAh battery and Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 with Lumia Denim firmware, although it will be one of the first handsets to get Windows 10.

Customers wanting to take advantage of O2's offer can choose to buy the Lumia 640 on Pay as You Go for £144.99 upfront (plus a minimum £10 top-up) or on pay monthly contracts. O2's contract options start at just £14.50 per month on a two year plan with no upfront cost for the handset and all of the plans come with LTE data. If this deal piques your interest, it ends on May 13th so you'll need to be quick!
