Google officially discontinues selling the Pixel 3a and 3a XL

While the anticipated launch of the Pixel 4a series keeps getting delayed for at least three times now based on reports, its predecessor has now been discontinued. Google confirmed today (via Android Police) that it has concluded the sale of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL on its online marketplace.

On Google's online store, the mid-range phone is listed as out of stock as of this writing. In a statement, the company announced:

"Google Store has sold through its inventory and completed sales of Pixel 3a. For people who are still interested in buying Pixel 3a, the product is available from some partners while supplies last."

That said, those who want to purchase the Pixel 3a series may still head over to Amazon and other third-party retailers to do so. However, supplies are running low on these websites.

Google announced the Pixel 3a and 3a XL in May 2019 as the more affordable versions of the flagship Pixel 3 and 3 XL, both of which were also discontinued earlier this year. With the latest turn of events, hopes are high that the debut of the Pixel 4a could just be around the corner.
