Google officially stops selling the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

Google has officially stopped selling the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL through the Google Store. The company removed the listing of the said devices and a company spokesperson confirmed that it has exhausted its inventory of the Pixels and won't list them for sale again.

The Pixel 3 series was officially announced by Google in October 2018. The devices were praised for their excellent camera performance, but terrible battery life and performance issues meant that consumers stayed away from them. In fact, the cheaper and smaller Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, which launched almost six months after the Pixel 3 series, have done better in terms of sales and are a more sensible purchase than the latter.

If you still want to buy a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL for some reason, your best bet is to look at third-party retailers like B&H and Best Buy as they continue to list and sell the device. Ideally, you should look at buying the Pixel 3a or wait until Google gets around to launching the Pixel 4a in around a couple of months from now.
