Google Pixel 4a launch possibly delayed to July

It looks like Google has further delayed the launch of the Pixel 4a. The budget Pixel was initially supposed to launch in May before a leak claimed that its launch was pushed to the first week of June. Now, as per leaker Jon Prosser, the Pixel 4a launch has again been pushed back by over a month to July 13. Whenever the device does launch though, it would be available in two colors: Just Black and Barely Blue.

Interestingly, the leaker claims that the Pixel 4a is ready to ship and Google's decision to delay its launch is primarily based on market analysis. Jon also corroborates what the previous leaks have told: there is not going to be a Pixel 4a XL this year.

Google is scheduled to hold the Android 11 beta launch show on June 3 where apart from the Android 11 beta program, it is expected to make some other announcements as well. After rumors of the Pixel 4a launch being delayed initially appeared, it was believed that the company was delaying the launch until the Android 11 beta launch show. However, this new leak seems to claims otherwise.

The Pixel 4a has leaked extensively over the last few weeks and there's nothing left to know about it. The device will seemingly carry a $349 price tag, feature a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED display, and it will be powered by a Snapdragon 730 chipset with 6GB RAM. The 12MP camera of the device has also already been reviewed ahead of its launch.
