Throughout October, there were many rumors in regards to HTC's upcoming handsets, the U11 Plus and U11 Life. While the U11 Plus seems to be the more premium offering, if its leaked specifications are to be believed, with the more interesting aspect of the unreleased smartphone being news of its translucent casing.
While this did sound quite exciting, seeing it, some may have mixed feelings. A new video has surfaced online that shows off the unannounced U11 Plus and goes into great detail about the device. At one point in the clip, the translucent back panel can be seen and it looks quite underwhelming, showing off nothing more than its wireless charging coil.
After experiencing so many years of ho-hum releases, HTC has seen some success with its U11 handset, that was released earlier in the year. It remains to be seen whether its upcoming offerings can generate the same kind of excitement. HTC is scheduled to hold an event in Taipei on November 2.
