Into the Breach is free to claim on the Epic Games Store this week

Epic Games Store has put on offer Into the Breach to claim and keep for free, taking the place of Hitman and Shadowrun Collection. It’s yet another repeat giveaway for Epic Games, but last time it was available to claim for a day; if you missed it then, this is another opportunity to grab the title. 3 out of 10: Episode 5 is also available now, for free, over here.

Into the Breach is a turn-based strategy title developed by Subset Games. Originally released in 2018, it was received positively by players and critics alike and appreciated for its art style, difficulty, and the soundtrack composed by Ben Prunty. Here’s how the Epic Games Store describes it:

Control powerful mechs from the future to defeat an alien threat. Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game from the makers of FTL.

Epic Games Store is offering Into the Breach for players on Windows and macOS, however it is also available for Linux via Steam, where it is priced $14.99 at the time of writing. Here are the minimum requirements:
