Minecraft gets the Fallout treatment with new Mash-Up Pack

Back in May, Microsoft teamed up with Nintendo to bring the most iconic characters of gaming into the Minecraft world through the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack. If you're a Minecraft player that missed out on the Super Mario Mash-Up because of Wii-U exclusivity, you'll be pleased to hear that the next Minecraft Mash-Up DLC won't be so restrictive.

Launching later this month, the Fallout Mash-Up Pack will bring the iconic wastelands and irradiated monsters from the powerhouse franchise Fallout into the Minecraft universe. Modeled mostly after Fallout 4, this new mash-up uses numerous skins, maps, UI effects and even the Fallout soundtrack to recreate the post-apocalyptic world that many gamers have explored throughout recent years.

The Fallout Mash-Up Pack DLC will cost $5.99 and is said to release to the console editions of the game (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita), allowing a big chunk of the Minecraft community to get their hands on the new content.
