New Grand Theft Auto 5 screenshots revealed

Rockstar has revealed another wave of screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V, focused around the themes of "Leisure" and "Business" - but there's still no indication of when the new title will launch.

It's almost hard to believe that the last major instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series arrived almost four and a half years ago. GTA4 was followed by two 'episodes' - 'The Lost And Damned' and 'The Ballad Of Gay Tony' - of additional gameplay and missions in 2009, but the wait since then for the next big update to the phenomenally successful GTA franchise has been a long one.

The wait, of course, is still not over, and while there's still no firm release date for Grand Theft Auto V, the game's developers are gradually increasing the buzz around the new title. Set in the city of Los Santos in the fictional US state of San Andreas, our first glimpse of GTA-V was in a trailer released in November 2011, but more recently, Rockstar has also started sharing screenshots showing off new elements of the stunning new gaming environment.

Following last week's "Transport"-themed screenshots, Rockstar has revealed two new batches of screenshots, based around "Leisure" (the first three) and "Business" (the final four):

Rockstar promises that it "will be back with some more to see in a few weeks or so" - so don't get your hopes up for a release any time soon. Be patient though - we're pretty sure it'll be worth the wait.
