Office for Android updated with SVG image support

Microsoft released new updates for its Office suite on Android today, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Here's what's new:

Use SVG images in Word: Insert and edit scalable vector graphic (SVG) images in your document to create sharp, well-designed content. No expert software required.

Of course, that's the changelog for Word, but it's the same for Excel and PowerPoint.

The new build is similar to the one that was released for Insiders a couple of weeks ago; however, the changelog for the Insider build also included multi-window support for users of the latest version of Android, Nougat. While this one doesn't specifically note that as a change, it does seem to be included in today's update.

The version numbers for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are 16.0.7668.4775, 16.0.7668.5029, and 16.0.7668.4273, respectively. You can download the apps from the following links:

If you want these updates more frequently, you can always sign up for the Office Insider Program. You can do that by joining the Google+ community, and then signing up to be a beta tester for each app.
