OnePlus unveils new program to gather customer ideas for new software features

OnePlus unveiled today a new program meant to let customers submit new ideas on how to help improve the company's software products. The IDEAS initiative is OnePlus' new way of gathering feedback from fans and allowing them to show support for a particular suggestion through a vote.

The program is limited to collecting suggestions for enhancing software products for now as part of its global beta phase. Plus, the company will be giving rewards for ideas that receive the highest number of votes in the form of likes. Rewards for adopted ideas include a VIP ticket to an upcoming OnePlus event and a round trip with a one-night accommodation. For the top five most liked ideas, fans will receive 1000 community credits, customized community badge, and a pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2.

OnePlus' OS product team will review suggestions every two weeks, pick the top five ideas for every round, and rank them according to popularity. Suggestions that get selected will be implemented by the firm's software R&D team.

To take part in the program, simply log in to your OnePlus community account (or create one if you haven't already), submit your idea following the given tips, leave a comment on other ideas, and like your favorite suggestions. Submissions kick off today until April 30 and you can submit your ideas via this page.
