Pebble support could officially be coming to Windows Phone

With the announcement of the Pebble Time, it looks like some have uncovered an app being tested internally that will possibly bring Pebble support to Windows Phone sometime in the future.

Pebble started its venture into wearables nearly three years ago. Sadly, Windows Phone users have been left in the dark without official support from Microsoft or Pebble. As Pebble debuted its latest 'Pebble Time' this week, Windows Phone support was again absent. Luckily, it looks like that could soon change as Microsoft is internally testing software to enable Pebble notification support.

According to WMPoweruser, Microsoft is currently testing a Pebble application. Although the application is listed in the Windows Phone store, it is not available for public download. But, like most apps available in the Windows Phone Store, screenshots of the app are present and it looks to allow notifications for toasts, alarms, reminders, media, phone calls, app uninstall, and e-mail. There is also an option to silence notifications during quiet hours, email notifications for only the inbox, and a mode to disable all notifications coming to the watch.

While this is certainly good to see, it is unknown whether Pebble support for Windows Phone will come with the latest updates debuted by Pebble this week. Hopefully we will see results of this internal testing come to fruition in May 2015, when the 'Pebble Time' will make its official release.
