Razer teases "Project Fiona" with full reveal Jan. 10

Razer has launched a new teaser video for "Project Fiona" . The video claims Razer will introduce a new form factor for playing PC games on January 10 during next week's CES 2012 trade event.

Razer is having some fun today with yet another video that teases a major announcement coming next week. The PC gaming perhiperial maker has relaunched its PCGamingIsNotDead.com site with a new video that claims it will launch what it calls "Project Fiona" at CES 2012 on January 10.

The video shows some footage from games such as HAWX 2 and Assassin's Creed Revelations, among others. At the moment all Razer is saying is that the announcement concerns an all new form factor for playing PC games.

At CES 2011, Razer first announced their concept design for what they called the Switchblade. The design centered on a mini-notebook PC with a small seven inch screen and a new user interface that allowed the keyboard to change icons depending on which game was being played.

Some of the Switchblade UI found its way into the Razer Blade. That high end gaming PC notebook was first announced last August. While originally planned for release by the end of 2011, the company later announced it would be delayed until mid-to-late Janaury 2012.

Neowin will be at CES 2012 and we should be able to check out what Razer's "Project Fiona" is all about.
