Rocket League getting even more Fast & Furious DLC cars

Psyonix has announced that two more cars based on the Fast & Furious movie franchise are heading to Rocket League, adding to the previously released DLC Ice Charger car from the most recent movie.

All the way back in April, Rocket League developer Psyonix released a Battle-Car that was seen in the most recent Fast & Furious movie, The Fate of the Furious. And now, the developer has two more Battle-Cars themed after vehicles seen in the franchise incoming for the game.

However, unlike before, the two new Battle-Cars are based on iconic cars seen back when the series was starting off. The first vehicle is Dominic Toretto's '70 Dodge Charger R/T', from The Fast and the Furious, the very first movie. Next, we have the '99 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34' driven by Brian O'Conner in the second movie of the series, 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Costing $1.99 each, both cars will come with their own unique engine sounds, wheels, and sets of decals to decorate them with. The decals available for all the Fast & Furious themed cars, including the previously released Ice Charger, can be seen on the developer's website.

Forza Motorsport 7 developer Turn 10 Studios also announced a Car Pack just last week containing 10 cars from the Fate of the Furious movie. It seems Universal Pictures is really keen on having Fast & Furious cars featured in video games.

The new Fast & Furious DLC Battle-Cars will launch on October 11 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with a Nintendo Switch release planned for later this year.
