Samsung's Gear 360 receives a heavy discount for Amazon Prime members

The Gear 360 is Samsung's first foray into 360 cameras, and although it was fairly limited in its initial release, the camera can now be found at most electronic retailers online and on store shelves. It now appears that the camera is getting a heavy discount, bringing the price down to a more manageable $225.99.

While 35% off the retail price of the camera sounds like a steal, you'll need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage. Luckily, if you are currently not a Prime member, you can always sign up for the 30-day trial. By being a Prime member, you'll gain access to the $225.99 price and also get free two-day shipping. If the Prime membership isn't for you, you can cancel at any time.

Also, if you are interested in purchasing the Gear 360 make sure that you have a compatible handset. Unfortunately, the camera is only compatible with a handful of Samsung devices like the Galaxy S7, S7 edge, S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, and Note5.
