Some Windows Phone users hit with Facebook sync bug

Microsoft has said it is working to fix a bug in Windows Phone that arose earlier today, which is preventing some users from synchronizing messages and some other content with their Facebook accounts.

Some Windows Phone owners are currently experiencing an error when they try to sync the OS to their Facebook accounts. The bug first appeared earlier today.

WPCentral reports that the error message code 83CF1104 is popping up for many Windows Phone users when they try to connect to their Facebook accounts. Later in the day, Windows Phone lead, Joe Belfiore, posted word on his Twitter account that the Facebook team is working to fix the syncing problem.

So far there's no word on what might be causing this issue. We will update this post when the error is corrected and, hopefully, provide some more info on what caused the sync bug in the first place.
