Before the end of each month, Google's Stadia team announces what games will be available the following month, and today is the time to learn about April's lineup of games. Through a new blog post, Google has revealed that Stadia Pro members will be able to get three more games for free next month.
All of these titles were announced to be coming to Stadia just last month, and now we know they're available at no additional cost. The games are Serious Sam Collection, which includes all three entries in the first-person shooter series, remastered in HD; Spitlings, a multiplayer arcade game that's temporarily exclusive to Stadia; and Stack on Stacks (On Stacks), another temporary Stadia exclusive, a 3D tower builder with a story mode for a single player as well as a multiplayer versus mode.
However, as new games arrive, it's worth noting that a couple of games are also leaving the lineup of free titles. Metro Exodus and Thumper will only be redeemable until March 31, so you'll have to claim them before then. However, you'll be able to play them forever after you do that.
Aside from that, there are a couple of new games arriving on Stadia this week, though you'll have to buy them. First is The Crew 2, which was announced earlier this month and is available starting today. For those unfamiliar, The Crew 2 is a racing game published by Ubisoft, first released in 2018. On Stadia, the game supports the Stream Connect feature, letting you see other players' perspectives inside your own game.
Stadia Pro members can also get a significant discount on the game if they choose to buy it. The base game is available for $15 ($49.99 for non-Pro members), the Deluxe Edition is $18 ($69.99) and the Gold Edition costs $27 ($99.99). Should you choose to buy the Season Pass, it'll cost Pro members $20 (usually $39.99).
The other new title is Lost Words: Beyond the Page, a narrative-driven puzzle game which is also temporarily exclusive to Stadia. It will be available this Friday for $14.99, and no special discount for Pro members.
Finally, Borderlands 3 is getting a new expansion called Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock, which adds a new story campaign where players explore the icy planet Xylourgos. If you own the Season Pass for Borderlands 3, this expansion is included, but you can buy it separately for $14.99.
