Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sets digital and PC launch records at EA

The completely single-player Star Wars adventure of Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Fallen Order, has gone on to set records at EA. The first two weeks' launch numbers have crowned the title as fastest-selling EA Star Wars game in digital copies, and also the top-selling Star Wars game on PC during the same period.

EA sadly didn't provide any hard numbers while announcing this, but third party estimates - from Steam Spy - set the Steam release as extremely successful, moving over a million copies through the PC platform already. This was the first EA PC game to launch on the Valve platform, alongside an Origin release, since 2011.

Regarding the reception and the launch numbers, Respawn head Vince Zampella thanked the community saying:

"On behalf of Respawn and EA, we thank everyone for their support of the studio and the team throughout the development and launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Telling a story in the Star Wars galaxy is a dream come true and the reception from the fans has been incredible."

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available to purchase on PC via Steam and Origin, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game is also in the Origin Access Premier library for those who subscribe to the EA service.
