T-Mobile debuts 'Team of Experts' during Un-carrier Next event

It has been quite some time since T-Mobile introduced a new Un-carrier movement, but the wireless carrier has introduced its newest Un-carrier Next move, focusing on providing better customer service.

Per usual, T-Mobile CEO John Legere took to the stage, calling out stats that basically indicated that the competition has lost subscribers since the movement started, while T-Mobile has gained subscribers. Legere also talked briefly about 5G, calling out that while other companies are fluffing the news about 5G, it was busy establishing 5G in 30 cities in 2018, and will introduce compatible 5G smartphones in 2019, and full nationwide service by 2020.

T-Mobile has done so much since it first started its Un-carrier movement and one has to ask, what more could possibly be done? In order to roll out its next movie, Legere brought out the company's Chief Operating Officer, Mike Seivert, who began discussing the shape of customer service call centers and how most companies try to deflect calls and keep them as short as possible.

T-Mobile's 'Team of Experts' will be launching nationwide and will eliminate the customer grind of trying to get connected with a customer service representative. That means you won't have to battle through an automated system and you'll just get instantly connected to a live team dedicated to your needs. Having a team dedicated to its customers will allow each member to talk to one another, eliminating the need to put the customer on hold or transferring them to someone else.

Perhaps what is most interesting is that if you call back the next day, you will be talking to the same team. That sounds quite superb, being able to speak with the same team that is already aware of your situation, eliminating the need to explain everything all over again. This service will be available 24 hours a day, through phone and text. If you want to continue using the automated system, you will have the option to do so.

In closing, T-Mobile announced that it has also partnered with Live Nation, in order to offer a new set of rewards that will be available during T-Mobile Tuesdays. The partnership will allow customers exclusive access to sold out tickets, fast entry into events, and more. The carrier will also thank its customers with a free year of Pandora Plus on August 28 through T-Mobile Tuesdays.
