T-Mobile will offer those that bring their own Pixel to the carrier a $325 credit

T-Mobile has announed that it will offer a $325 credit for those that bring a Pixel to their carrier and sign up for its One plan. The credit will be the equivalent of half the price of a new Pixel.

When Google announced the Pixel and Pixel XL, it also revealed that the handset would be exclusively carried by Verizon in the United States. Today, T-Mobile has sidestepped Verizon's exclusivity by offering those signing up for its T-Mobile One plan a $325 credit, if they purchase a Pixel and bring it to the carrier.

The new promotion was revealed by T-Mobile CEO John Legere, who teased something in regards to the Pixel and the wireless carrier the night prior. So how does the promotion work? You purchase your unlocked Pixel, sign up for a T-Mobile One plan, then head to the validation site to show proof of purchase. Once everything is validated, customers will receive their $325 in the form of a bill credit, which will arrive monthly ($13.55 credit /monthly) for 24 months.

The promotion will officially start tomorrow and will be available for a limited time. The handset can be purchased unlocked from the Google Store, but there around a three to four week delay for some models.
