Twitter has dropped the "Official" checkmark less than a full day after its release. CEO Elon Musk also said that the company will retain the original Twitter checkmark to avoid confusion.
Twitter has begun allowing some people to buy the blue checkmark for their profile from today. Availability is limited to five countries right now but, hopefully, this will expand soon.
Elon Musk has revealed that Twitter users will be able to get a blue tick if they buy Twitter Blue for $8 per month. They will get other perks too like priority replies, fewer ads, and more.
