Nine months after Google originally released Marshmallow, AT&T has finally released Android 6.0.1 for Samsung's Galaxy S6 active. The update weighs in at 1441MB, and includes Wi-Fi calling support.
The S6 Active is almost a clone of the standard S6, featuring the same 5.1" 1440p display, Exynos 7420 SoC inside, and 16MP optically stabilized camera. But it has a rugged design an beefier battery.
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S6 active, its new 'ruggedized' flagship with an octa-core Exynos processor, 5.1-inch Quad HD AMOLED, 16MP rear camera and a rather generous 3500mAh battery.
Samsung's US website jumped the gun on the Galaxy S6 Active announcement as the device's product page briefly went live today revealing its design and hardware specifications.
