ASUS Z390 and Z370 chipset motherboard owners are angry at the vendor because the company has not yet released any firmware updates for adding support for the PCIe Resizable BAR feature.
Nvidia and its AIB partners have released VBIOS update tools which adds support for Resizable BAR feature on RTX 3000 series GPUs. With this enabled, the company promises up to 12% performance gains.
GALAX and Gainward have released VBIOS updates that add support for the PCIe Resizable BAR feature on its cards. After updating, the feature should be available on RTX 3090, 3080, 3070, and 3060 Ti.
AMD has now expanded support for its Smart Access Memory feature to Ryzen 3000 series processors. The feature debuted last year alongside the launch of the Ryzen 5000 CPUs and RX 6000 series GPUs.
AMD has officially announced that PCIe Resizable BAR support will be arriving next month via the upcoming AGESA 188.8.131.52 BIOS. The new update will also fix some telemetry problems with Ryzen Master.
