A fake Microsoft lookalike website has been discovered recently which is distributing a dangerous RedLine malware in the form of a Windows 11 installer package. The RedLine malware is a stealer.

Users are reporting that Windows 11 installs are failing on their systems with error codes that read "0x8007007f" or "0x800F0830 - 0x20003". Luckily, there seems to be an easy fix for the first one.
Kaspersky has issued an advisory about people getting their machines infected with malware by downloading fake Windows 11 installers like "86307_windows 11 build 21996.1 x64 + activator.exe".
