YouTube Premium subscribers getting free Nest Mini from Google

Google is offering YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S. a free Nest Mini. The company is sending out eligible subscribers an email or an in-app notification with a code which they will have to redeem to get the smart speaker for free.

This is not the first time that Google is handing out its cheapest smart speaker to YouTube Premium or Google Play Music subscribers for free. The offer is based on a first-come, first-serve basis so if you have received an email or in-app notification from Google, make sure to redeem your free Nest Mini as soon as possible. The offer does last through June 30, so you don't lose hope if you have not already received an email from Google as there is still time. You can also check this link to verify if you are eligible for the offer or not.

The Nest Mini retails for $49.99. It was first announced by Google at its 'Made by Google' event last year as a successor to the Google Home Mini. Previously, Spotify had handed out free Google Home Mini to its premium subscribers as a part of its promotional campaign. A monthly subscription of YouTube Premium costs $11.99 in the U.S. so Google giving away a $50 free speaker to its premium members is definitely a sweet deal.
