N64 definately

Goldeneye was on it. Need I say more?

No, but I will. I sold my 64 when PS2 was about a year old because I thought it was getting too old. I brought a PS2. I hated it. It has to load all the time and makes a noise and it needs a memory card to save. The 64 didnt ever need to load. IMO sony dominate only because the PS used CDs which was a new technology noobs just knew must be "better".

Game consoles were gonna stay on cartridges bro...there was too much needed just to get one cartridge made. Companies woulda eventually gone bankrupt probably.

I'm a Nintendo wh0re (but not a one sided fanboy)...and I've NEVER liked Goldeneye. I'm sorry but FPS need to remain on PC's...well except Metroid Prime.

hhmmmmmmmm

its a fact tho

gamecube games R CHEEZY

Its interesting that the:

Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance

Nintendo Gamecube

got the lowest votes

Erm, it's an opinion, an uneducated one at that. With people running around thinking like you, and the fact that most people that would've voted for those two chose SNES/NES instead, there's no wonder

My answer might even come as more of a shock than the Commie mentioned above.

To me, it's the Apple II series. Hands down. Some of the most memorable RPGs I've ever played on a computer all came from that system. I still haven't seen an RPG with a combat system with half the depth of the Wizard's Crown/Eternal Dagger series. *sighs*

Super Nintendo.

I still, even TODAY sit and play Super Marioworld and other mario games on it.

It's gone through a few modifications to keep it in working condition, tho....

For some strange reason, it probably wasn't designed for play well into the next mellenium

"Other" would include what I couldn't add in (and don't even care much for), Sega's stuff and the XBOX. If you prefer some other old or new platform (Turbo Grafx, Atari....) feel free to mention it.

Lazy mofo  Sega Genesis Owns Snes...

My other goes to Sega

Excuse me? Lazy? :hmmm: I think not. I said more than once all ready that I would've made better choices on the poll if I knew it'd be so popular later. :p

Thank you to all who voted and anyone else who continues. I guess this is the official debating thread for gaming platforms.

    • My Photos app is version 2026.11050.1001.0 and it remembers the window size and position. My Snipping Tool is version 11.2602.49.0 and it can capture the taskbar.

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
