Definately PC... great games, and the hardware advances as the games do, so you never have to buy a new system or get stuck with sub-par stuff, you can change whatever you want to fit your tastes. So the power and the customization ability does it for me.

I choose Microsoft XBox after playing the field some.. I've tried gamecube but it's overall graphic quality didn't impress me but then I tried Playstation 2 and bought one.. After having it for a while and suffering in 480i Widescreen mode and possibily progressive at the best I decided to try XBOX after trying it at a friends house. So like I said, I chose Microsoft XBOX and I chose it because it's high quality graphics and HDTV support in 480p/720p/1080i and Widescreen mode also due to the fact you can modify and have a huge hard drive to store backups of your games.. you buy at blockbuster.

While technically you are correct this member messed it up.. Where is the Gamecube, etc? Professionalism?.. I just decided to make one in here also and the fact it's well organized.. Now if your going to reply please vote and state your reasons.

XBOX sh*ts all over the PS2, and GC. They dont stand a chance against it. XBOX is gonna rule the world. If you buy anything but an XBOX you suck. Because XBOX has great games. The graphics on the XBOX are awesome. Did I mention that you should buy an XBOX and if you sont you suck? There are NO GOOD GAMES on the PS2 and GC. All other consoles that came before the XBOX should be burned. Even when the PS3 comes out the XBOX will be better, because the XBOX rules! XBOX ALL THE WAY!

The Gamecube is the first choice. Professionalism? Please...

You can't seriously mean that. Maybe you haven't looked hard enough.

And by your idea I guess I should keep playing my Dreamcast just because it happens to have better games, despite it being dead and outdated.

EDIT TO CLARIFY: I was not serious on my first post, I just did the fan boys job for them.

My honest opinion is that XBOX is better. I feel the PS2 was rushed out because the PS1 was such a success. At the time Sony were able to put much better technology into the PS2, yet they didnt. The Dreamcast which had been out for over a year before PS2 had much better texture compression and more texture memory, amongst other things (EDIT: DC Also had full-scene anti-aliasing, PS2 dont even have that).

EDIT: I think the DC was better then PS2 any day.

As for the GC unfortunatley it didnt take off, it is a great system, but Nintendo relied too much on loyalty, and it didnt work. Sure all the Nintendo fan boys bought GC's but unfortunatley at the time of release Nintendo fan boys were already a monority and they didnt win many new customers, all Nintendo has done really is isolate Nin fan boys even more. I hope Nin gets it right next time, I'd hate to see them go the way of Sega.

XBOX plays DVD's, has a hard drive, you can have custom soundtracks. MS did their research and built a system for gamers. Whats more, the XBOX is more powerfull, has more features, yet sells for the same or less then the PS2. Do the maths. Are you goign to buy a system which will be superceeded by the PS3 shortly, or will you buy a system which ihas more features yet sells for less?

Sorry I'll correct myself this thread is just more suited to be.. He says XBOX vs PS2 in the title but puts Gamecube in the Poll?

Yes while the title reflects unprofessionalism if this is going to be "the definite thread".. I'd like to keep it professional.

Let's also not argue okay? Just vote and state your reasons.. Back on topic please.

Also @ Kramitman.. Could you and anyone in the future please give reasons to support your choice.. I.E- "The XBOX has better graphics in my opinon.."

Thanks

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
