do we know if it fixed the nether portal issue?

I don't believe so, it's still showing as unresolved on the bug tracker, however there has been a comment in the last hour indicating that it was fixed for them, so perhaps it is less prevalent. I haven't tried the portals since the upgrade.

If by fixed you mean we don't end up a few blocks away, then yes. If you mean you face the same way you're facing when you enter a portal, no.

I wonder what this is :o (Finally)

You leaving a two block gap under or next to a command block -- and me spending 20 minutes trying to find the zombie hidden there. ;)

Network connectivity to the virtual host is spotty right now. The Minecraft server is running, but Azure (the VM host) might be having issues. Not much to do but wait as I don't have access to the Azure console.

    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.

    • No thanks! WebView trash is unacceptable. I only use software that's native.
