As others have said, my issue isn't with point of view throwing me off, it feels like I have no control of the car once I take off and that no matter how straight and flat the take off, even if I dont touch the left stick my car goes absolutely crazy regardless of speed, ive got like 6/50, all luck, and I am at 98.5% done, stunt jumps (25/50) is literally all I have left for 100% achievement.

Hmm that does seem weird. I think some vehicles are easy to control in the air than others. If you're stuck, try using a fast motorbike instead, that helped me with some of the difficult ones (and likewise a fast sportscar if the bike wasn't working).

I also cannot do the stunt jumps to save my life. Even though I get the whole concept that the view the camera shows is different, it really seems like I have zero control of the car in the air. It is like it is not responding at all.

So the game says I am at 50% finally, but I have only done one strangers and freaks side mission, so wondering how far along I am in the main story...

I just went as Franklin to rescue Michael in the warehouse when he was being held by the Chinese that thought he was Trevor's lover.

Do I still have a long way to go with the main story or am I close?

You have 16 missions left (tho that includes any Assassination missions you haven't done (and shouldn't do until the end of the game -- just a hint).

Im certainly going to give a motorbike a go, ive been attempting the jumps with an...Abbar(?); the 1million $ website car purchase that tops out at 240mph lol guess ill put my nearly $900 million toward finding the perfect car/vehicle. Any mods I can make LSC to assist my stunt issues?

That's an awesome page! Thanks!

So cool, I have a realistic expectation of beating this game! Nice!

Thanks. (Y)

The slow load times for this game just KILL IT.  I mean, I play online, and spend more time loading maps/missions than playing the game.  Really kills this game.

Otherwise, what's the quickest way to level online?  Doing "Join Missions?"

You've been kicked from the session, returning to GTA V... RAGEEEEEEE. Having to leave a free roam and join missions kind of kills it for me, half the time I've done a mission with friends, we all ended up in different free roam sessions. That's if it hasn't kicked us out and back to single player.

I feel Rockstar should of waited for next gen and could of used dedicated servers for multi provided by MS and Sony.

Yeah the loading is slow, compounded by the broken open/closed lobby feature that frequently lets you quick-join a session you're not wanted in. I got kicked from 4 lobbies in a row yesterday, the other players obviously being friends or crew that didn't want randoms. Hoping it will be better when that feature is fixed (assuming people actually use it properly).

On the other hand, props to the crew of 4 French people who I joined on a mission last night. I was so sure I was getting kicked I hadn't even bought ammo and armour when the mission started. They then proceeded to invite me to several further missions which was cool.

I've not been kicked but i've found being invited by the same group of people from game to game. I think because good, friendly players are few and far between on GTA.

Free roam in an open lobby reminds me of when DayZ first started. Just bandits killing new guys on the shore.

Money glitches are kinda ruining online (even further). The game's economy is screwed with kiddies getting $10 million in a single hour of glitching.

I don't understand those kids, the game has to get boring fast if you are buying all the most expensive houses and vehicles straight away.

The patch released today should close that glitch.

Plus i believe now they're kicking those guys to the cheaters lobby.

I do agree though, it ruins the game.

Honestly i'd love Rockstar to admit that really they should have had an open beta on this and do a reset.

It would be difficult given the amount of players.

I honestly think most people who are of a high level (100+) and have loads of money have either used the money glitch or farmed the replay glitch.

Stunt jumps with a motorbike makes complete sense. Once I am done with the SP, that will be my first side content that I tackle. Thanks for the tip Alladaskill. (Y)

No problem :) I cant take all credit but Im glad to help. The achievement hunter link above is amazing for not only locations but each dot can be clicked for a 20-40 sec YouTube clip of what the area looks like in game, where to start from/land. Honestly the bridges and knife flights were easier than stunts until I found the bikes. One more thing to note: some stunt jumps landing areas (less than 10) have stairs that, when hit, kill you, should be avoided for the 25/50 for 100%, or done with a car for the 50/50.

To those of you who have already played it: do you feel like it's bigger than GTA:SA?

Now there have been a lot of claims that it is, yet the maps just seems smaller to me even taking the scales in mind.

What do you think?

Agree... I miss the casinos.  That game was like 3 large cities.  I feel like GTA5 is just one large cities and a couple very small ones.

Doing missions etc with other players or crew members. Now that I'm close to lvl 30 I was getting 1300+RP, Survival is the best because you get a lot of RP points.

In addition to the RP, $2k per round complete isn't bad at all (havent double checked but we died @round 9, $18k, and round 10 achievement gave $20k so its a safe assumption).

Hi Guys,

I've ended up with a  new console, and want to use the Data Transfer Utility to transfer my stuff across. Anyone heard any problems with doing this in GTA?

Thanks :)

PS3 or 360? Shouldn't be any problems, but you can only do your games saves, game data. Also you could just use a thumb drive.

Anyways, is there any point in crews for GTA Online? All or most of them just seem like all they wanna do is just run around kill each other. I honestly don't see any of them doing or wanting to help other crew members with missions to rank up. Killing each other is okay at times but not EVERYDAY all the TIME! tis confusing and just wondering.

What happened to all the people that was playing GTA online after patch 1.03 from October 3rd - 7th? lots of people was on playing and now, seems like it's dropped TONS after that. Did they ban a bunch of people or something? Also, patch 1.04 no 500k we have to wait until next week to get it from R :star:

PSN - If anyone here can also, give me a hand on boosting my strength that would be great...I've asked 2 people and get "no response or no ty" which it is worth having it 100% makes a difference when getting shot or w/e. It was from a video on YT that it requires 2 people, one sits in a car while the other kicks the ###### out of it. I tried before I found the video and it didn't budge. Would appreciate it and will return the favor as well! just add me on PSN

ok, Only LvL 31 but some bits i play by.

When you start, you suck, as do your weapons, missions and tasks available.

Staying in lobbies is ok for playing with friends, or Crew ( Uk 360 Haven't played even one crew game yet , no one is ever on ) but your get the best MISSIONS through quick join, then your be able to join higher ranked lvl missions, although the term MISSIONS need to be amended as last man standing or shot the guys escaping with Jets isn't a mission in my eyes.

The benefit of staying in lobbies is playing the short driving races over and over for easy low points quickly.

Paying with friends and or Crew adds to your Rp.

Check the map for Bounties or Crate Drops, no one seems to go for the drops and bounties can net you $9000 for an easy kill, then use a heli or plane to get there quick for crate drops. You dont keep the mini gun after you log off of when you die ( Collected two so far )

Not that I imagine there are many people in the world with a console that don't have GTA but its finally available through Xbox Live Games on Demand

Hopefully they've gotten a way around trying to stream from 2 sources that plagued the fully isntalled 360 and PS3 downloadable version.

Don't forget the Gruppe trucks get 6k from those, even though they're few and far. I think I may start doing quick jobs. Earlier today I did the mission for Ron where I had to destroy 3 jets and jack cargobob and when inviting most from my current crew ZERO joined...too busy killing each other. So, I'm going to stay with NeoCrew and hopefully GTASeriesVideos and IGN if I decide to request a join. I'm Lvl 31 with Chlo a randomized char that I had intended to try out online in solo mode and ended up continuing to use her. I'm going to take and lvl up my guy he's only 16 (I think)

Does anyone else think that rockstar should stop players from hiding out in their houses when they have a bounty...IRL you're not safe from a bounty either
