CatnipOligarchy Posted October 12, 2004 Author Share Posted October 12, 2004 yeah, hi. this is all too familiar. i'll pay someone who can explain to me why bobby cox brought in chris reitsma, who has been hammered over the last month or so of the season, instead of going to alfonseca, who has pitched surprisingly well.. does he really think that a deciding game in the playoffs is a good time to build a pitchers confidence back? also, carlos beltran has already hit 2 HRs in the game. 3-1 count. runner on 2nd. just go ahead and walk him.. nope.. base hit, another RBI. good call. i was at the game tonight, 3rd year in a row ive been there to see us eliminated, and it never gets any easier. we werent supposed to make it this far, but it still hurts. i have no idea what our team is going to look like next season. i'm going to be ****ed off for a week or so, then i'll move on. the falcons are playing well at least this year, and when march comes around, i'll be ready to do it all over again. I shut the game off at 4-1 and had to take the kid's to a birthday party (try to get them to turn on a TV at Chuck E Cheese). Anyway, they announced the 6-5 win and I went crazy. I always said Clemens was evil since he left us. I really couldn't believe we lost game three. It wasn't even a loss, it was a freaking massacre. However, if we pull off a win today, we'll be in a similar place as were last year (losing the series 3 to 2 going into New York for two games). So all is not lost!
