I just got mine today. I really didn't expect this. Thank you to MS for being so generous. After all, I don't beta test for the prizes.

Same, I couldn't believe it when I opened up the mysterious package. I was hardly expecting this, thank you Microsoft :)

I live in Melbourne Australia, I got mine bright and early this morning...just as i was leaving for uni. I only read this topic at a glance off the main page, I forgot I even signed up for a gift. Never expected them to send anything good.

I quickly swapped laptop bags and it is a very snug fit. Not heaps of padding but enough. And the pouch for holding pens and ID flips out in the oddest way. The addition of those reflective strips is nice, now the theifs can see you have a laptop.

Its a nice way of advertising on their part, give people bags knowing they will use it. If you dont have a laptop you could always try whoring it on ebay, I havent seen any posted (maybe I am not searching right).

Its also to note that I signed up just to post the news of my arrival :p

Why do they expect the users to do the work for them, for free, and then charge them for the software afterwards...

You on crack? You willingly sign up for these with absolutely no conditions about getting anything in return. If ya don't like that, don't sign up for them.

i was an original tester, and i never got the email, and i live in Canada...last i checked (the flash drive thing) they dont ship to Canada...have they ever before?

Well it was posted on connect where you should have really been checking anyway.

Ahh well, Got mine. Its pretty nice although the stitchings a little dodge. Still considering I was happy to get nothing it's a very pleasant gift.

I think it was for the competition thing they had a while back, they gave away some free stuff then too..I can't remember what it was, a Xbox 360 game or something like that. I didn't win anything :p and I didn't get any gift from MS for been in the beta either :( oh well, sometimes your lucky sometimes your not :laugh:

Guess I'll be eating my own words now :p, my gift arrived today by courier.
