If Apple changes it, what does it really signify? That means that spotlight is indexing the computer. Im guessing that the person had an external hard drive to use time machine to its fullest and well it takes awhile to say the least to index something that large. There is also the problem of using time machine to back something up and having it index the hard drive. It runs into several problems... All those screenshots are real... This happens on Tiger as well, although most people never notice it. The dot actually flashes, so the screenshot was taken while it was visible. edit: sorry, I see that this has been mentioned several times already. Oops. As you can see most of the control buttons are vectored but the titlebar background isn't yet. Looks like Apple is beating Microsoft to it.
