Sidney Crosby scored six points tonight to take over the NHL scoring lead, with fewer games than the rest and a higher points-per-game average. I knew this kid would do better than Ovechkin this year.

I called it last year, I said Crosby will lead the scoring race next year.. of course everyone laughed.

I called it last year, I said Crosby will lead the scoring race next year.. of course everyone laughed.

Everyone was so amazed by Ovechkin, they forgot that Crosby had huge season last year, an 18 year-old with over 100 points. But one had to look realistically at the situation: Crosby is going to be even bigger than Ovechkin, and while there are few of us, we did say Crosby would lead. He might not win the Art Ross, by a hair, but he did miss a few games.

Crosby is not a natural goal scorer. Yes, he has goal-scoring abilities, but stop comparing him to Ovechkin -- they have two completely different styles. Crosby is far more better at playmaking than Ovechkin is, and Ovechkin has more speed and better vision as far as shooting goes. To go ahead and say one will certainly win the points race this year is utterly stupid as they're both amazing players.

To say Crosby everyone was so amazed by Ovechkin that they forgot Crosby is a vast overstatement. Everyone knew Crosby, and everyone watched what he did. Everyone who follows hockey knows he had an amazing rookie season.

And yes, Crosby is going to be bigger than Ovechkin. The fans are more likely to cheer on a North American than a European if you want the truth. For example, Jagr is an amazing player, but he never will get the kind of fan fare that Mario had. I know you also can't compare these two, but you get the idea.

One things for certain, this years all-star game is going to be a doozy if Sid and Alex are playing on the same line. :D Not sure who i would have plaing on the right with those two though.

you should put Sullivan, Crosby and Ovechkin on line 1. insane speed sniper line. :D

It's a collection of bizarre matchups sure to leave NHL fans scratching their heads.

Sheldon Souray squaring off against teammate Craig Rivet. Rookie Dustin Penner going toe-to-toe with the retired Marc Bergevin. Martin Brodeur taking on both Tie Domi and Donald Brashear.

Fortunately (especially for Brodeur), the clashes take place not on the ice, but at the poker table, where 16 current and former NHLers battle for Texas Hold 'Em supremacy in the PartyPoker.net Charity Faceoff. The seven-part series starts tomorrow (TSN, 1 p.m.) and continues throughout the holidays, culminating with the one-hour finale Dec. 30.

Colorado has the chance to move into second place in the northwest division tonight. It's gonna be a tough game with Khabibulin playing the way he is, it's also doesn't help that Havlat is back and scoring points.

Plus Chicago now has Peter Bondra. So far he's (nearly) a point a game (but it's early).

Ouch, rough night for Boston and Detroit last night.

Yeah, the bloody game was on Leafs TV (a digital specialty channel that I don't subscribe to).

I looked at the boxscore this morning though. 10-2! Alex Steen had an awesome night (and he was having a terrible sophomore season to this point).

We're in the dark days right now. We have to find our mojo. We've lost our mojo.

Darcy Tucker, looking particularly hoser on this day in lumber jacket and toque ? I love hockey player fashion off the ice, which is essentially anti-fashion (at least since style-guru Tie Domi retired) ? still manages to maintain that satanic quality, vaguely menacing. With microphones uplifted and notebooks open, the hockey correspondents await Tucker's breaking news update on his foot ouchie, the swelling from a tracery of finely cracked bones risen anew, sidelining him from the Boston encounter. Don't bet against him being in the lineup tonight against Buffalo, though.

In another corner, Belak continues to whinge about the 2 + 10 he'd drawn the night before, ostensibly for deliberately breaking his stick after a holding call, then jawing about it. "The stick BROKE. I didn't BREAK it," Belak argues, the picture of angelic innocence.

Got to give this to the endlessly cheerful Belak. Somehow, on marginal talent and with enforcement specialists rendered increasingly obsolete, he's managed to endure in this league, on this team, well aware that he might very well be one of the luckiest guys on Earth.

Describing events in the dressing room after the first period in Boston, Leafs then trailing 2-1: "Coach came in and tore us a new one."

The Leafs responded with nine unanswered goals, blowouts of awesome proportions. &qIt was like playing Sega '96 out there," he says. &qBackdoor tap-ins, everything was going in."

    • All good features. But it is not an actual Windows app. I’d rather use the PWA. Meanwhile but versions - Classic and Modern - are full of bugs and inconsistencies. Yuck.
    • Had one user who switched to new Outlook, could not send an email he sends weekly due to file size to large error, works fine in classic Outlook. Issue just today, user received a meeting invite, when she went to add the meeting to the calendar it opened up New Outlook (she has classic open) and we could not add the invite to her calendar, We had her switch to New Outlook, it crashed when we tried to add the invite. Still hot garbage.
