Mac OS X 'Leopard'-related Discussion

Off point, but was OS X ever allowed to directly upgrade from OS9? Sorry if I hijacked this thread.

Basicly, OSX would install next to OS9, and take over the bootloader. From OSX you could then select to boot into OS9, and then vice versa. But what most people did was use the old installation to run in "Classic" mode, which let you run all the old OS9 programs in OSX natively.

I'm getting ready to buy a MacBook in the next few months...do you guys think it's better to buy it with Tiger now or wait for Leopard?

I thought they would have atleast made the tabs look like Safari's tabs.

Safari's browser window is Brushed. Terminal is Aqua.
