Off point, but was OS X ever allowed to directly upgrade from OS9? Sorry if I hijacked this thread.

Basicly, OSX would install next to OS9, and take over the bootloader. From OSX you could then select to boot into OS9, and then vice versa. But what most people did was use the old installation to run in "Classic" mode, which let you run all the old OS9 programs in OSX natively.

Tabs in Terminal might suggest we will get tabs in Finder. Although I can drag and drop not working well between tabs.

Most updated applications are that way: Automator, iCal, iChat and iSync all look like crap.

I'm getting ready to buy a MacBook in the next few months...do you guys think it's better to buy it with Tiger now or wait for Leopard?

Well it is Safari tabs, but not with brush metal interface. Nicer than I thought and much niver than iTerm. There seems to be a funny animation when we type the characters in the new terminal... lol

Safari's browser window is Brushed. Terminal is Aqua.

One of the top secret features of Leopard is you can now access The Matrix with Terminal :p

The other screen shots show a tab bar on top instead of at the bottom. Maybe it's a preference you can set.
