I agree with everyone who is asking for the recent forums posts to be put back on the main page. That was one fo the best features on the frontpage! It's part of what attracted me to Neowin when I first started coming here, I miss it a lot.

Same here, I loved the how you could refresh the list without refreshing the entire page.

I dont like the drop down list. Please get back the old style so that we can just refresh the recent forum topics instead of the whole page....Maybe we can vote on this.

You do realise you can change the forum theme back to "Swift Refresh" yourself in the lower left??

I like it besides two or so things that have already been stated.

a) the frontpage having those links static was more useable IMHO than the roll overs. That said...I'll get used to this

b) Forum colours need adjusting I think. In particular the titles on the forums main page...the blue is the samr colour as the alternating sub forums so you dont know where one section of the forum starts and the next does too easily due to the blue blending.

I also think the pale blue is too large a contrast to the white. When viewing topics at least currently I am seeing a checkered page rather than the actual content. Put simply..the blue to me seems to be a bit too strong and the fact it repeats horizontally is distracting my eyes from focusing on the actual topic titles (which is also blue). I duno...I'll get used to it but in my oppinion the blue rows could be even paler than they are.

I'll get used to both but.

Great design but and thanks.

At first I thought I would not like it but I am pleased. It gives a good effect on the eyes. Great work guys!

EDIT: How do I mark all forums read?

Either via the quick links menu on the top right next to the search bar or by clicking the blue circle (with the arrow in it) next to the individual forum you wish to mark as read.

Thanks. I was wondering because there used to be a link right nex to overall top 20 postsers.

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
    • Yes, yes, YES, thank you AMD. Now display audio, night light, cleartype, etc, all work again.
