I dont think you get five full secons of crit when you add in the time to switch weapons ('q' buton is the fastest) and the minigun's warmup spin before firing.

exactly..

They should have added some sort of speed boost with natascha to compensate for the lack of power.. and OBVIOUS lack of slowing down the enemy..lol

Try going Pyro and attacking a Heavy armed with Natascha instead of Sascha, the difference is huge, you can't even get close enough to set him alight compared to running rings around a Sasha'd Heavy and getting all those sweet crits from behind.

The server I play on all of the time (Jiggly's Fun House) decided to have a sandvich party today:

</snip>

</snip>

Haha, yeah, we did something similar to that in our clans server today as well.

Good times. ;)

Got 19 of the achievements from playing heavy today (just regular playing, nothing out of the ordinary - well except eating a lot of sandviches during the setup time!).

I have to say, they've nailed the alternative instead of upgrade with Natascha, and the Sandvich is more of a situational choice than anything else but definitely not overpowered.

I'm still making up my mind on the KGB as i only just got it, and i'm tending towards thinking it's an upgrade but the loss of the killtaunt is quite a tradeoff, it has a huge range compared to the Hadouken.

...

Oh okay, thanks. So I should first defrag inside Steam, then use another defragger if I want to?

Yeah.

Natascha does slow down people, it's quite obvious once you see it. (I was on the receiving end of it last night, it's hard to turn and run for cover)

So I've got a bit of a problem that maybe someone can help me with. Firstly, my specs are Athlon X2 64 4400+, 4GB of DDR400, nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX.

On this system, XP Pro w/SP3 plays TF2 just fine, no problems whatsoever. Using Vista (both 32-bit and 64-bit), I get extreme lag issues. I have the latest drivers for everything. I'm getting ready to build a new system when Core i7 comes out, but it would be nice to move to Vista x64.

saying that since the heavy update i have TF2 crashing on me while ive been in game, i had another update last night (cant find any news about it) but when i played last night the game hasnt crashed so far

anyone else had issues?

I had this problem as i had the same spec as you a few months ago, and the problem went away with a new gfx and processor, i know it doesnt really help, but thats what fixed it for me

kept crashing before the valve 'video' at the start finished after playing once with the update

Still doesn't make sense why it works in XP, but not Vista. I haven't tried any other game, but I still think it has to be something with my drivers.

That is weird. There might be a problem with your local cache. Might want to consider posting that on the Steam forums and see if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it.

Finally got it to work today. I got so frustrated with it hanging and restarting that I shut off my computer for a day. When I turned it and started Steam, it finally downloaded the update at a steady rate. Took about 3 minutes to update as a whole but I'm still mad it took this long.

Scirwode

Godamit, Source games **** me off when they do this.

I load up TF2 and theres 1 server on the server list. I untick non empty, non locked and so on and still only the 1 server.

I have to go to a site to launch the game and get the ip for a server.

Don't understand why this keeps happening.

Got all unlocks with a simple download. I really cannot be arsed to grind.

Twas on a server today with 90% heavies. Serious yawn fest. After about 4 minutes I suited up as a pyro and strolled out to the 2fort bridge, to whence I decided to cook all those fat heavies. Truly, wonderful. Odd though how I was the enemy for trying to play the game and not allowing them to stat up wasting my time.

This is why Valve should release all the add-ons in one go, not one at a time. Be prepared for heavy filled servers for weeks to come.

On a side note, nothing more fun than roasting a useless heavy to death while he is eating his SANDWICH. Yes it has a W. Booo

Alot of people were having that problem.

just got Stage 2 unlocked with the Heavy, im hoping to get Stage 3 shortly, but i think stage 3 will be difficult to get

http://steamcommunity.com/id/Unimatrixero/...mp;agroup=heavy

you biatch lol, I need that, I still need more Pyro stuff!

If anyone wants a Guest Pass for 1 month (expiring 9/21/2008), please PM me.

I think most people that have had this game for a few months have 1 guest pass. I also have one as well; anyone want one?

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
