I wish people would stop posting their illegal torrent progress percentages and download speeds. So pointless...

Then is your system really ready for Windows 7? I'm not saying it won't run decently, but still...

Intel Atom netbooks ;)

I'm sitting here watching it, still at 99.1%, looking at 150 other connections, not one of 'em is over 99.1%, it's the same thing the others are claiming 100% on, so if they're getting it they're pulling out because of it, which of course just contributes to the lameness rising. I've already given back 3x what I've taken and I'm at 99.1% soooo... as soon as I get that remaining .9% I'm disconnecting, I've covered my take, multiple times over just waiting on that last little bit.

Just installed.Installation took around 15 minutes.

Gonna check for fetaures, walls, etc right now.

So far i am really impressed with the speed of this Build. Its really really fast and i installed it on 3 years old hardware.

The Taskbar items look slightly more rounded there.

Ugh, Windows sounds (or at least custom sound schemes) are so 1990s :p

Hey now, show me a computer depicted in any sci-fi movie ever made that doesn't make SOME kind of sounds when doing processing or when data is input... ;)

Pure silence is totally boring to me, gotta always have some noise happening. Maybe not with every click of every key on my keyboard, but I can't stand total silence at all, need music or some "background noise" happening 24/7... and I'm not alone.

your setup.exe shows a date of april 5th, where mine (the same one everyone else seems to be getting on here, is dated april 4th)

????

A) Could be that my timezone is GMT +0 so it may of converted the date to what it would of been if done at that time in the UK

B) I also know I got the same download as averyone else.

Yeah, because most places outside North America put the day first, as in day/month/year, whereas here in the US and Canuckia (I think) we prefer month/day/year, so 04/05/2009 for me in the US is 05/04/2009 outside North America... or something like that. ;)

True ;) I do use the default sounds on Windows Vista, but those custom sound schemes remind be of Windows 98 desktop themes that came with Plus! 98.

Thanks for sharing those screenshots 0nyX!

    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • I've never even heard of this browser before seeing this article. How does it differ from other browsers?
    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
    • 18 months ago I bought the 4TB variant for $380 CDN. Now it is $1500 CDN [$949 US].
