I thought you were a Liverpool fan, yet you call 'your own', including me, a 'bunch of *******'?

****ing idiot. There are no Munchen songs at Liverpool games these days, Man Utd are the team constantly caught singing about Hillsborough and Liverpool FC.

No kidding. They need to make it an automatic prison sentence for anyone caught carrying a knife who can't prove they have a reasonable excuse to be doing so. Some kind of deterrent is sorely needed

Being caught with a blade was supposed to mean up to life in prison when this government came into power.

When I used to get the 122 from Sydenham to Lewisham, there was a poster in 1998 (on the bus) saying 'it's for my mates bbq', 'no excuses, you can get life in prison', 'we are stamping down on knife crime'.

Ballcocks, just more b.s. by this government.

Well back to what this forum is about, Arsenal win again, I am still waiting for that extra 1 or 2 defenders and a roaming midfield-striker.

I am not happy, Wenger has a pile of dosh and no new faces.

I think he should bring in Wilshire for constant first team football, I think he is capable.

I agree about transfers.. Arshavin spoke out about this and I know RvP, Cesc and others must feel the same and so do 99.9% Gunner fans.. our squad is not big enough compared to some big clubs in terms of quality on bench.. especially in defence.. what if Gallas or Vermaelen get injured? or both? Who do we have? Silvestre and Djourou or Senderos? They are not as good as our first team defenders.. Arsene most definitely needs to spend in defence.. I feel with Vela, Walcott, Rosicky and Nasri returning we are all set in attack and midfield more or less..

I also think we must give Wilshere a run in the league.. I'm not so sure if he's ready for a permanant spot in the first team.. especially mentally.. can he handle the pressure of knockout stages of UCL for example? Wenger is doing the right thing playing him regularly in FA Cup and Carling Cup and integrating him into first team slowly. This season he should be played in the league for at least 10-12 games.. maybe even for just a half or so.. just to see how he handles it coz we all know he has quality and if he can show mental maturity then he can be the winger we miss..

Are you boys finished? There are, on both sides, stupid people. And fighting about who is the lamest does not make you classier... :hmmm:

It's just beyond me how rajput wants to come and see Liverpool play at Anfield if he has that opinion about Kopites, the fans who made Liverpool FC.

3-1 to Aston Villa at the moment, with about 15 mins to go. The third was scored via a penalty at around 73-74 mins. Unfortunately for Liverpool, it only comes a couple of minutes after Liverpool scored their first.

I no longer sense a draw :p

EDIT: And now Benitez is raging at the referee for a Villa injury taking too long.

this is Liverpool we are talking about a team well known for epic comebacks from stevie g

We were poor today. We normally start the season off poorly in terms of performance, but the difference is that we are not getting the results this time around like we have in other seasons.

Friedal did well though for Villa. Cracking keeper.

Not in 10 minutes :p

It took 6 minutes against AC Milan ;)

I am sure they will come into form soon, hey Martyn thoughts on Lucas?

Played poorly today, but so did the whole team. He has probably been our best player in our season so far, and he was immense last week against Stoke.

He just needs confidence and support to be honest, he has the potential but we just need to give him the right stage for him to develop.

After this start, I am getting rather worried. Getting beaten like that at home is unacceptable. We lost just 2 games all season, we have lost that many in our first 2 matches this season. Things need to pick up quickly, otherwise I feel we may be in for yet another trophyless season

Yeah it's going to be hard to find the next Alonso!

you need the money from that to spend mind you! not ?2m!

Hopefully Aquilani can step up when he is fully fit.

We have spent ?30 million this summer (?20 million for Aquilani, ?10 million for Johnson [?7 million was wrote off from the Crouch deal]).

We have sold Alonso, Arbeloa, Leto, Hobbs etc for around ?40 million. Not to mention we had a big chunk of money from the Keane deal when we sold him in January.

We've spent far less than we have bought, how are we meant to make the 'step up' after finishing second if we have no resources?

Meanwhile we are paying ?60 million a year interest to the banks, and the Americans are charging us 'expenses' for their fancy hotel rooms and private jets.

don't get your panties in a bunch man, i'm just saying theirs idiots on both sides of the spectrum. UEFA coming out and saying liverpool has some of the worst fans in football doesn't just come out of nowhere. Yeah its kinda funny, and i love being hated as much as the next guy, but some people just take it too far. I'm not defending anything other teams firms or fans are doing, it's just that you shouldn't really speak up about something when something you try to represent and support do the exact same type of things.

And the game today was terribly embarrassing. I didn't think the team changed that much but it sure looks like they miss Xabi. I guess the team just needs some more time to gel... I agree with your spending argument, i totally thought we would have spent more money, at least get one big name, something that would help us in the depth department, but it really hasn't happened so far. The teams building stage doesn't not seem to have a quick end in site and Rafa seems to be really banking on the young talent this year (Lucas, Babel etc.). It's still pretty early to judge, Man U last year had a absolutely horrid start and still toke the league so all is still far from lost.

So far so good . We played well yesterday...

I duno why but I find this to be funny

I think you guys may have the best change to win the title this year.... (yeah i said it). You guys didn't really change over the summer, while the other big clubs arguably got worse (on paper anyways).

Heysel happened 24 years ago, some people just can't get over it, and seem to assume that the few scumbags that caused the trouble there are somehow representative of all Liverpool fans. I would like to hope that I speak for most modern Liverpool fans when I say that I don't even treat the people involved in that disaster as real Liverpool fans, I treat them as idiots that where hell bent on causing trouble.

Most modern Liverpool fans are very well behaved

Athens was down to UEFA.

lolz we are losing to Millwall

and we also set a great example!

Crowd violence has erupted outside West Ham's Upton Park stadium ahead of their Carling Cup game with Millwall.

Eyewitnesses said scuffles involving scores of fans broke out while bottles and bricks were thrown at cars.

One fan texted BBC Radio 5 live to say it was the worst hooliganism he had seen in 30 years.

A Met spokesman said: "There has been some trouble and disorder from Millwall and Wet Ham fans - officers are reacting to the violence."

The BBC's Ben Jacobs, who is at the stadium, said: "The trouble broke out outside the Tube station about 600 yards from the ground.

"There were 500 to 1,000 riot police and Millwall fans managed to break through the divide.

"Bottles were thrown and bricks were as well."

He added: "There has been a bit of trouble inside the ground.

"There was a penalty shout and fans started gesturing and throwing small objects. But police do have this under control."
