NHL 09-10 Season

I'm hoping chicago wins the west, but I wouldnt be shocked if it went the other way.

I must say though that san jose seems to have finally found themselves in the playoffs. If they beat chicago and go to the cup, I say they take it all regardless of who shows up from the east.

I am absolutely giddy about the prospect of an Original Six team taking the Cup. The Bruins or Hawks, long without Stanley's mug, or the Canadiens, the greatest franchise of all time, finally back in the game. Their story is legendary this year. Even the Flyers would be interesting, being thirty-five years removed from glory.

And you were saying that the habs would lose earlier. heart says habs in 7, brain is yelling "are you serious?". If habs take one of the games in pittsburgh I have full confidence they can take the series. They keep playing like they are, like they want it more then the other guys and they'll be fine. Whoever wants it more usually takes it in the playoffs.

always listen to your heart...

they can't because crosby/malkin/fleury sucks, just like ovechkin and semin sucked last round

looks like i was right again (Y)

The comeback of the Canadiens and the Flyers is nothing short of impressive. For us, it's as if we won the cup in Montreal. I rarely use my car horn, so finally I did :D

I won't lie, I'm as shocked as the Pens fans, because on paper they have a more solid and experienced team. What I think Habs brought is heart, and seeing Halak try his hardest pushed the rest of the team to not let him down by putting the puck in their nets. The result is this, being in the conference finals hasn't happen since 1993 and we won our last Cup that year.

In people's minds here, we will be in the finals. I sure hope so, and whether it's the Flyers or Bruins, it will be an intense series!

said that about washington, pittsburgh... bring it on

I've had Hawks taking cup since January, so I'm still gonna go with them if it's a Habs/Hawks showdown. Though, they'll have to find someway to get past Halak, who is a ****in beast and definitely Playoff MVP.

As to Washington, everyone says it and it's true. Built for regular season, but not playoffs.

And always thought Pitts was overrated just because they got Sid.

To: Boston

Worst collapse in NHL history. Yes, on two previous occasions teams have rebounded from trailing 3-0 in a playoff series to win four straight games. But Boston also had a 3-0 lead in Game 7 only to lose the game (and the series) 4 to 3.

All that being said, I would have taken Boston to win the series and I would have preferred them to win but, no, that just wasn't in the cards.

they are not at all, they have malkin too, last year's conn smythe winner for the STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS...

they are a solid team, montreal just figured them out.

Doesn't matter who they have, you hear about Pit you are only going to hear about Sid. Nothing against the team really. Just against all the talk and chit-chat about Pens being the greatest team ever in exists and will dominate the league because of Sid. I know they have other players, and I know they won the Cup last year, but honestly. How often do you hear about anyone else (other than in-game and even then) w/o Sid being mentioned. Annoyed is a great way to describe it.

What I meant by overrated is I think people give them way to much credit, simply due to Sid being on there team. They are a good team and for the past couple of years have been cup contenders (and they did win), but if Sid wasn't with them, we wouldn't hear so much about 'em and in that case we would hear about w/e team had Sid.

    • Google are hyprocrites for signing this. They have been pulling the same dirty tactics as Microsoft, only they do it on Android and ChromeOS.
    • In some countries the law has forced Microsoft to display a menu on a fresh install of Windows which asks which web browser you want and it will install that browser. This doesn't add any bloat to Windows. It simply an additional step when setting up a new PC.
    • Chrome is also a first party browser on Android and ChromeOS. And on those systems, Google is pulling the same dirty tactics as Microsoft does on Windows.
    • Unofficial script lets you install unreleased Windows 11 features without Microsoft Account by Sayan Sen Microsoft has been steadily evolving the Windows Insider Program over the years, introducing new channels and testing paths that allow enthusiasts to experience upcoming and yet-to-be-released Windows features (some interesting hidden ones too) before they reach the public. However, one long-standing requirement has remained largely unchanged as users are generally expected to enroll in the Program and with a Microsoft account. That's where a third-party tool called "OfflineInsiderEnroll" can help. OfflineInsiderEnroll is said to be a lightweight script that enables access to Windows Insider Program builds on systems that are not signed in with a Microsoft account. Essentially the tool configures the necessary Insider settings locally and hence allows users to select and switch between available preview channels while continuing to receive builds through the normal Windows Update channel. If you are wondering how it manages to do so, it is made possible by a Registry value known as TestFlags. When configured to"0x20", Windows stops communicating with Microsoft's online Insider enrollment services thus preventing locally configured Insider settings from being overwritten. This allows the script to apply its own channel configuration directly through the Registry as Windows Update does not verify whether a device has been officially enrolled in the Insider Program or not. Previously the utility has had already supported the traditional Insider branches including Dev, Beta, and Release Preview. However following Microsoft’s recent restructuring of its preview channels, the script has now been updated. The latest OfflineInsiderEnroll version, 2.6.6, adds support for the newly introduced Insider channel lineup. As such, users can now choose from several Experimental channels in addition to Beta and Release Preview options. The update also retains tools for refreshing the Insider cache, resetting Insider settings, and completely stopping Insider enrollment when needed. Keep in mind though that will need elevated privileges when running the script (run as Admin). You can get the latest version of OfflineInsiderEnroll from this page on its official GitHub repo.
    • The "Classic" Outlook has done that for a few years as well. The option to even change that is really hidden away too... It really shouldn't be hard to respect user defaults. Sadly we are the product now, not Outlook. To change in the Classic Outlook: File > Options > Advanced > change "Open hyperlinks from Outlook in"
