Game over, I fell asleep playing it

Terrible repetitive game, my GF said something like "is that hard? you're in the same part since last time I've looked!!"

Sucks very very very hard :/

Agreed. Its barely an RPG, the story is good, but not great, the graphics are beautiful but not enough to make the game more than a 7 tops

Package arrived this morning but no one was in, I really doubt it's for me though TheHut with next day delivery? Name is just "DEVINE", which doesn't help :p

Can't collect it till Monday though now :(

Lucky you :p I can only get the game on the official release date... stupid EB :(

Well if it is a package for me and not my dad, I still can't get it till Monday :/

Pickups at the depot are between 7am-12am Mon-Fri.

Needed a signature, can't remember if my last order from TheHut needed one.

How did you guys not like IX? It's much more akin to the older games then VII and VIII...

I like how they make out the length of FMVs in XIII to be a good thing, it's basically just a slightly interactive film now right?

There's only 40 minutes of CGI I believe, but like 9 hours of in-game cutscene which is using the game engine, but is pre-rendered for better quality.

3 different character models, running around world models, in fight models and cut-scene models.

I have not heard of The Hut sending record or signed for, and the game would have been posted through post box.

My copy from The Hut also dispatched same day as yours, and I didnt get anything, so safe to assume its coming today or tuesday via regular non signed for service, like The Hut normally do.

Non-signed exactly.

Never had anything signed for from TheHut, get home NOW....

More excited for Yakuza 3 tbh right now

Will be coming home just after dinner I think, plenty of time for some game playing tonight :)

Well I just played the first part, pretty much knew what to expect with the gameplay vids.

CGI is awesome, looks great, will not post any impressions as I only just started.

Are you playing on PS3? I can't remember 100% as I remember you saying you had about 3 pre-orders on the go

I think you are though, as that PLAY10 code for TheHut was PS3 only I think.

I'm starting to wish that I had pre-ordered this, now that the hype machine is in full swing. I have a Best Buy gift card that I'm going to use for this one, so hopefully they're stocked when I get there tomorrow morning. And hopefully the PS3 version is stocked, since I don't want to settle for the 360 version, or my PS3 friends will murder me :).

Speaking of Best Buy, they're selling this for $60 CAD, which sadly is a good deal in Canada.

60 bucks isn't too bad, sometimes games are 70 @ launch...

    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
