Note: I added a short one to two word description under each photo just in case you were unaware of what my subject was. lol :p

I have been shooting with my 105 f/2.8 so often that I my other lenses were getting dusty haha; these were all shot with a 35 f/1.8

Note: I added a short one to two word description under each photo just in case you were unaware of what my subject was.

Lol I was intending on quoting all of them and saying something like "nice labels" and then i read that line haha

Damn, nice job :)

What Camera/lens/aperture?

right now im just focusing on getting the FOCUS right. and working with light..

Yeah I think the focus is really good on the first one in that you got the drink's bubbles in focus, but maybe a narrower aperture might have brought the bottle into focus as well. Not sure if that would detract from the image though

The focus in the second is spot on :)

Damn, nice job :)

What Camera/lens/aperture?

was that for me? :p

if yes then its a 550D with a 50mm F1.8 prime. And the aperture was set at F2.8

btw guys shots in ISO 100 look so buttery smooth.. there is something different about the vibrance of it. compared to one takes with ISO 400+

Sweet, what did you use for light?

And I always try to shoot in ISO 100 whenever possible. Doesn't the 5D Mark II have ISO 50? Can't wait for that :p

and dont ask about the light :p

it was sunlight :p the sun was like 25 degree from ground behind the glass. i shot it with a very fast shutter speed to get the dark look.

and ISO 100 is totally free from NOISE..even ISO 200.. but above that it starts to get grainy.. and its even good at 1600.. at 3200 its mostly unusable but some shots where nothing else is possible it still works.

It was late when I took these (just 45 minutes ago) so I had to increase ISO to 800 for some shots to get a decent shutter speed, will try again hopefully sometime a bit earlier, will get much better results

This photo was a pain - it was really windy, and it was VERY hard to get this shot when focused so closely ^

Tis a Horse by Paulo Franco, on Flickr

Took this a few weeks ago on a day out. Like this. This was me trying to experiment with using MF rather than AF. I like this one, I'm getting better at this photography lark!

Didn't do much in PS after, just sharpened up a bit, adjusted the levels ever so slightly and improved the colours slightly.

f/4.2, 1/1000, ISO200, 125mm

Here's the colour version of 'in flight'

but the one with the heron's is pretty much the same... slightly warmer and just a little bit more blue.

Took this one years ago on a day out with my wife and a couple of mates.

Taken with my wee Olympus, before I got the D3000.

F/3.2 (wow, really, that open?!), 1/50, ISO400, 10.9mm (?!)

Stay connected affordably in 120+ countries/regions with your own lifetime eSIM! An eSIM is a digital SIM card. It's basically just mobile data. Once it's activated on your device, it can connect you to data networks in other countries – giving you an internet connection with NO roaming charges. With aloSIM, you can load prepaid eSIM data packages onto your phone, tablet, or computer. Your lifetime eSIM never expires, so it's yours forever and there are never any monthly charges. You'll get $50 in eSIM data credit, which is almost always enough to cover all your data roaming needs for a full year. Good to know Length of access: lifetime For NEW customers only Instant digital redemption Once you add your $50 credit to your aloSim account you have up to 12-months to use it — after that your credit will expire When you pay for a data plan you also get a free phone number (via Hushed) for the same duration of your plan that was purchased - IE 7 day eSim plan gives you a free 7-day phone number Purchased coupon must be redeemed and used within 12 months This deal is not stackable (one offer per aloSIM account) A $4.50 data package will last 7 days The data DOES expire, and you WILL NOT have any leftover data for your next trip unless it takes place within the validity period. • WordArt was cool. We now have color fonts as a substitute although Word only supports COLRv0 and COLRv1 (Fraud OS 11 only). The OpenType SVG color font format needs to be supported by Office. Adobe's apps support it
    • i backup my files, incl keepass to my proton drive using Syncback which i paid for (thanks Warwagon!). they have a free version but i can't remember what it does and doesn't do anymore. anyways, it's really, really simple and easy to use. i also periodically keep backups of my keepass onsite especially when i've changed or added a password that is important to me. if you don't wanna spend time on the syncthing setup, get syncback. haha i even got my dad to use it for his backups to usb and he doesn't even need my help!!! (thank god!)
