Person of Interest (Season 1)

Those of you who like spotting little trivia things in movies/TV shows would appreciate this...

See the name circled in red? It's in Russian and translates into "Bad Robot", which happens to be JJ Abrams (aka creator of this series) production company and one that makes this show. You're welcome.

I'm kind of neutral on this show and putting it on hold to see how the rest of the season pans out before deciding whether to continue or not.. I'm all for the show coming out JJ Abrams production company, but this is sort of following along the path of Burn Notice with the whole case by case plot and characters with hidden pasts where they reveal bits a pieces until they finally tell us who is after them. The plot has excitement and action, but that excitement does not engage me as the viewer.

Those of you who are enjoying it, I hope the show keeps going to your liking.

lost reference as well!

OMG Rappy, you caught it too ! :D I'm on episode 8 now and I've already spotted 3 LOST references : the Virgin Mary (2 times in different episodes) and of course Ben's List (seriously, just hearing Michael Emerson in the first episode saying "I have a list" gave me goosebumps). Now, the show's backbone is great, but I felt the acting was really lacking. Mind you, Emerson and Caviezel deliver a great performance, but Carver ... meh. That Keyser S?ze guy ... wasn't convincing AT ALL. Felt completely out of place. Fusco is so-so.

Still, it's a great show that I'll be watching. The idea is totally awesome, especially the fact that you never know if the person of interest is going to be a bad guy or just a victim. I just hope they cast better actors for the secondary roles, like they did with Linda Cardellini

Is this show any good? Is it worth starting to watch? The viewership ratings don't seem to be all that good.

I think it's definitely worth watching. You may or may not like it but you won't know for sure until you do. I've seen every episode so far and I think it's a great show.

i think 23 was the finale as everyone talks about it like if it was the last episode

but at the end of the episode, i head finch say "stay stuned for scenes from our next episode"

yea, saw that too, but kinda find any reference to the next episode, and that felt like a season final.

also this happened in another show recently, right at the end it said stay stuned for scenes from our next episode....can't remember which one it was though.

    • This piece of ###### is probably one of the most hated apps that ever existed.
    • Microsoft is bringing a much-needed Recap app to Teams, here is a first look by Usama Jawad Microsoft Teams is heavily used in work and school environments, and perhaps one of its core but extremely useful features is the ability to record meetings. In past years, Microsoft has further improved upon this functionality by integrating AI, but you do need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to leverage most, if not all, all of those capabilities. Now, the Redmond tech firm is making another significant enhancement in the area of Teams meeting recordings. Up until now, if you wanted to access Teams recordings, you had to arduously locate the meeting invite and navigate to the dedicated tab, or go to the cloud storage location such as a SharePoint site. This was a rather overwhelming activity, especially if you don't remember the name of the meeting or the meeting occurred quite a while ago. Microsoft is now attempting to solve this problem through a dedicated Recap app that consolidates all your recordings. This centralized experience will allow users to find all recordings from the past 30 days and also offer access to other related services such as transcripts and AI-powered summaries. Customers will have the option to search for recordings, filter them, and review multiple meetings by generating AI-powered podcast-style recaps. The Recap app will list all available recordings in both thumbnail and list views. The former is shown below: And here is how Teams users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license can select multiple recordings to generate a podcast-style audio recap: Microsoft has emphasized that the Recap app is pre-installed in Teams but it will not be pinned by default. Users will able to navigate to the Teams app store from the left rail, and pin it from the apps section. It will be enabled by default for all users once it becomes available. It's worth noting that while Teams recordings and transcripts can be accessed by all users governed by existing permissions, AI-powered features like intelligent summaries, audio recaps, and video recaps will require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. The Recap app will be generally available to Teams users on Windows, Mac, and the web by the end of next month, with mobile support coming soon.
